This is an English translation of Johann Gerhard’s monumental Loci Theologici. Gerhard was the premier Lutheran theologian of the early 17th century. He taught at Jena from 1616 until his death (1637) and combined his profound understanding of evangelical Lutheran theology with a board interest in ethics and culture to produce significant works on Biblical, doctrinal, pastoral, and devotional theology.
