The Lord’s Supper is the true body and blood of your Lord Jesus Christ, under the bread and wine, given and shed for you for the forgiveness of sins. In this holy Sacrament, Christ graciously delivers to believers all the treasures of heaven: forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation. He invites weary sinners to come and find rest in Him. This gift is holy, divine, and given for you. We need not fear the Sacrament, for Christ’s body and blood are wholesome, pure, and comforting. They bring the fullness of His salvation, not judgment, to those who receive them in faith. As we examine ourselves, we repent and receive His gifts with joy. Christ Himself makes you worthy through His cross.
