How do hymns play a role in the life of professional musicians? Jeff Taylor (Nashville-based and Grammy-award winning bandleader and multi-instrumentalist) joins Andy and Sarah from the 2026 Getty Sing! Conference to talk about his musical upbringing, his formation as a musician and the wide variety of instruments he now plays, the most joyous thing about playing with some pretty famous people, and the role of hymns in his life as a musician.
As you grab your morning coffee (and pastry, let’s be honest), join hosts Andy Bates and Sarah Gulseth as they bring you stories of the intersection of Lutheran life and a secular world. Catch real-life stories of mercy work of the LCMS and partners, updates from missionaries across the ocean, and practical talk about how to live boldly Lutheran.
