A Moment in Creation: Algae and Evolution

Rev. Warren Woerth and Gary Duncan discuss Algae on the program this week. Scientists cannot explain why a recent Algae fossil discovery does not show that it has evolved over time.  Some scientists are coming to the realization that the theory of evolution is collapsing and cannot explain recent discoveries that are in line with what the Bible teaches about creation.

This week on the program Gary talks with Dr. Luke as we continue with the story of the good Samaritan. We dig deeper into how Christians respond to those people in need of help.  Jesus is our good Samaritan who rescues us in our need. 

A Moment in Scripture: Colossians 1 – 1st Thessalonians 3

Gary and Pastor Matt Clark continue their two-year trip through the Bible. This week we read Colossians 1 – 1st Thessalonians 3.  Pastor Clark points out that our reading this week is part of the Pauline epistles, letters written by Paul to specific groups of people. The letter to the people of Colossae is about false teaching regarding eating, festivals, etc. Paul shares with them how Jesus fulfills those laws. In Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians, he sends comforting words to those who have been persecuted. Read along and listen as we continue going through the Bible.
