I will discuss the definition of human trafficking, who is at risk, where it happens, why it happens, how to help victims, and how to avoid becoming a victim.
Bio: Michelle Reuter is a Realtor, and is married to Pastor Lane Reuter, Senior Pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church and Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. Pastor Lane and Michelle have been married for twenty-five years and have three children, ages 22, 19, and 15. In 2016, Michelle became aware that human trafficking is an issue in the Nashville area. She began an outreach group at the church that serves survivors in many ways, and she makes prevention a focus of her efforts in combatting trafficking. Mrs. Reuter has a special passion to help young people outsmart traffickers.
